This is a very heavy and stiff canvas tarpaulin. Probably bombproof! I'm going to be using it at a permanent base camp to provide cover next to a campfire, as nylon tarps are easily damaged by sparks from the fire. I would not recommend it for any kind of backpacking/bushcraft camps however due to the weight.
